Winter Romance B&B Packages

Recently named one of the Top 15 Most Romantic B&B’s in the country, Galen Moses House is the perfect choice for that special romantic winter getaway….and Bath is the perfect winter getaway destination!

                                  Two Winter Specials are available at this award-winning B&B located in Bath.gateway to Maine's midcoast..on coastal route 1. One of the midcoast's most popular bed and breakfast, this 1874 Victorian mansion has four elegant guestrooms, each with private bath. Each room is furnished with carefully selected antiques giving a feeling of a museum, yet with all the modern comforts one would expect in a fine inn.

Owners Jim Haught and Larry Kieft have announced two winter specials designed to fit the needs of every couple looking for that Romantic Getaway!

Winter Romance & Honeymoon Package

  • Enjoy that special occasion in one of our 4 special rooms…with queen size beds and sitting areas…each with a private bath.
  • This classic romance package includes two or three nights in one of the B&B’s guest rooms; a special arrangement of flowers in your room upon arrival; dinner gift certificate at one of our fine local restaurants; a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne or wine in your room or by the fireplace in the library; gourmet breakfast each morning
  • Two Night Package: $385.00, double occupancy, plus state room tax
  • Three Night Package: $485.00, double occupancy, plus state room tax
  • This package requires a two night minimum stay and is valid 7 days a week during January, February, March & April (excluding holidays and special events weekends).

 

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS SPECIAL

Christmas holidays are always spectacular around the Galen Moses House and the City of Bath. There are special holiday events almost every day around the City. One of the noteworthy events is a tour of the Galen Moses House with lots of trim over the windows and stairways.

During December and up to the middle of January you can enjoy this special season in Bath as a guest at the Galen Moses House. There are special full breakfasts each morning and special treats around the fire in the library each afternoon. For this holiday period we are offering you reduced charges based on multiple night stays. For example, a room charge of $169 would be reduced to $159 for each of two nights or $149 for each of three nights.

"Something old, something new;

            Come spend an antiquing weekend for two"

Spend the weekend in an 1874 Victorian Mansion and enjoy an escorted tour of several unusual antique shops with former antique dealers. The morning will start with a full gourmet breakfast after which you will be escorted for a morning round of antique shopping. Lunch will be in a rather offbeat location and will be followed by a full afternoon of antique shops

geared to your particular interests. The evening will find the two of you sitting for a romantic dinner. Of course the next morning you will be provided with another full gourmet breakfast.

All of this for $425.00 for two including taxes. (November through May)

A Maritime Experience

Spend the weekend in an 1874 Victorian Mansion while indulging in a study of the midcoast's maritime history. Two night's lodging, romantic dinner for two, two gourmet breakfasts and two passes to the Maine Maritime Museum. The price for two persons is $345 including taxes.

All of this for $345.00 for two including taxes. (June through October add $100)

Winter Special - Second night at half price!

Stay any night, Sunday through Thursday and get the second night at half the regular room rate! Available from November 1 through April 30 (Exclusive of any special event promotion, Thanksgiving Holiday, December 24 thru December 31, or any holiday weekends).

 

Winter Weekdays

  • Take advantage of that "less traveled midcoast" and visit Galen Moses House for those starry mid-week nights in Bath! Schedule your visit during any winter weekdays and we’ll discount your stay!
  • During January, February, March & April…stay any two weekday nights…Sunday through Thursday, excluding Valentine’s Day
  • 1st night in any of our guest rooms at the regular off season rate…2nd night is 50% off, plus applicable state room taxes….full breakfast each morning
  • Additional nights are at the regular off season rate, plus state room tax

One Enchanted Evening

  • Can only get away for one night? Celebrate that "special occasion" at the Galen Moses House. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary…or some much needed "cuddle time" …do it in style in one of our elegant rooms.
  • One enchanted evening includes one night in one of our four rooms, complimentary glass of wine in front of the fireplace in the library, a gift certificate for dinner at a nearby restaurant and flowers in your room.
  • This package is valid weekdays only during January, February, March & April….add $90.00 to the regular off-season rate for One Enchanted Evening at the Galen Moses House.
  • Excludes Valentines Day, holidays, and special events weekends.

Gift Certificates

Purchase a lodging gift certificate for that special friend or relative which can be used anytime. Just tell us the amount and we will match it with a room or apply it toward an upgrade.
